Which tool do I need?
Combine several PDFs into one file
Add the files, set their order and optionally a page range for each, then download one PDF.
Send only a few pages of a long PDF
Extract the pages you need into a new file, or cut the document into parts by range or every N pages.
Make a scanned PDF small enough to email
Re-render pages as JPEG at 96 to 150 DPI, or optimise losslessly if the text must stay selectable.

About PDF Tools
Every tool opens and saves the PDF inside your browser tab with the open-source pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries, so contracts, payslips and medical letters never leave your device. Most edits copy pages as PDF objects and keep text selectable and images untouched; the strong mode of Compress PDF is the exception, and it says so, because it turns pages into images.
A few limits apply to all of them. Password-protected or permission-restricted PDFs have to be saved as an unprotected copy first. Tools that rebuild a file from copied pages (merge, split and organize) do not carry over bookmarks or fillable form fields, while rotate, watermark, page numbers and sign edit the original in place and keep them.

Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded when I use these tools?
No. Each tool reads and writes the PDF inside your browser tab, and the result downloads straight to your device. Only the Type tab of Sign PDF fetches handwriting fonts from Google Fonts, without sending your document.
Do these PDF tools reduce quality?
Merge, split, rotate, organize, watermark, page numbers and sign copy or edit PDF objects without re-rendering, so text and images are unchanged. Only the strong mode of Compress PDF turns pages into JPEG images, and it warns you first.
Why are bookmarks missing after merging or reordering?
Merge, split and organize build a new file from copied pages, and bookmarks are stored at document level, not on pages. Rotate, watermark, page numbers and sign edit the file in place and keep them.
Can I edit a password-protected PDF here?
Not directly. Open it with its password in a PDF reader, save or print an unprotected copy, and use that copy with these tools.
Is the Sign PDF signature legally valid?
It adds an electronic signature image, which laws such as ESIGN, UETA and eIDAS generally accept for everyday documents. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, so check when a recipient asks for one.
